This is my object bar theme modified from one of the themes that comes with object bar, It has just about every feature you could want out of object bar that I could think of and has plenty of system tray icons. And includes a drop shadow on the bar. if you wish to turn it off and don't know how just pm me.

This bar was made in and for Windows vista any problems in xp you will have to fix on your own as I do not have windows xp.

You will need the Lucida Gr font to be able to use this properly

This is my first Objectbar skin so there are some problems but I will definitely be releasing the newer versions I come up with as I make them. One thing I want is to make the apple logo bring up the start menu. So keep checking out my profile!

I have the lucida grande font installed, but it isnt displaying it. Also, can this be rounded and transparent?

if you are using the later builds of object bar you can over ride the themes settings and make it transparent, the edges are not round if you want to do that I would suggest opening up the bar in photoshop and rounding them off.

Thanks, I tried overriding the transparency, but it did not work. I even tried 0% to see if I was doing even anything to it, but it isn't work.

the left side (apple logo) can't round because the image you used is just the apple picture with a pink outside. which means you made it transparent. Ill try to just put some black on the edges if that makes a difference.....

Something weird has happened. I finished editing my spotlight rounded button, when the apple logo was gone and I can see my start button.

Ok. I fixed it. Turns out I had my taskbar settings to not autohide and with the "Always on top" setting.

I have the spotlight_normal.bmp done and the applelogo_normal.bmp and the applelogo_selected.bmp done.

All i need to finish the the spotlight_selected.bmp.

The apple logo ones only work with you do not have transparency due to the fact that you will need to add black for the roundedness, and the pink will show on the images if you have it. So I had to replace it with the bar background.


It is possible though, to make it transparent and have the images. You just need to know what to do when editing, and you will need the PSDs

Ok, it is done. But has this problem with the selected spotlight that i dont know what is wrong with it.

When you select the spotlight some white bar appears next to it, making it look not rounded.

So, if you want this anyway, that is fine. You can also not make it have a mouse over affect at all so that is fine.

Once I get permission from the author I can post these ASAP.

yeah if you can share your edited images I will be releasing a new version of this over time and I will include your version of the skin in the pack if you want and of course give you credit for modding the files.
